To preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment for both current and future generations Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Pollution Control Committee was established. DDD & DNH PCC is a persistent defender of integrity of the environment and sustainability. In accordance with the Water (Pollution and Control of Pollution) Act of 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1981, DDD & DNH PCC was made in the state of Lakshadweep.

Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Pollution Control Committee responsibility is to manage hazardous waste, issue licenses and permits to business and industries that fall within its purview, conducting environmental impact studies and regulating air and water pollution. DDD & DNH PCC is a regulatory body to uphold the concepts of sustainable development and environmental conservation and to regulate various aspects of pollution control and environmental management throughout the state.

Services Offered

Consent to Establish (CTE)

This certification is required before starting a new factory or project in Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. This shows that the proposed project complies with environmental regulations and has passed Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Pollution Control Committee inspection to ensure that it will not harm the environment. • Air Quality Analysis: DDD & DNH PCC test the air quality for contaminating pollutants such as PM10, Sox, NOx etc.
• Water Quality Analysis: DDD & DNH PCC tests the water quality for assessment of parameters like dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD) etc.
• Soil and Hazardous Waste Analysis: DDD & DNH PCC tests the soil to determine where pollutants and other toxic substances are present in it or not.
