Founded in Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act,1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act,1981. 1.Consent to establish (CTE)-: it is the certificate which is necessary to start any new industrial project, construction, or expansion that might cause pollution. It makes sure the project meets environmental rules and standards before it begins.

• Consent to Operate (CTO)-: Once the project is operational; it needs to get operational permission from the Pollution Control Board. This certificate must be updated regularly to ensure that the project continues to comply with environmental regulations during operation.
• Hazardous waste management authorization-: Industries that produce hazardous waste need permission from the Madhya Pradesh State Pollution Control Board (MPPCB) to manage, handle, and dispose of it properly, following the Hazardous Waste Rules.
• Bio medical waste management -: Some institutions, like hospitals, clinics, and laboratories, produce bioremediation products, so they must safely dispose of the products. For that, they must get permission from the Madhya Pradesh State Pollution Control Board.
• Water pollution control clearance-: Industrial discharge of wastewater into a river or lake must be approved by the Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board. This ensures that the wastewater complies with standards and is free of water pollution.
• Air pollution control clearance-: Industries that emit pollutants into the air need approval from the Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board. 7.The NOC for Extraction of Groundwater: To guarantee the long-term conservation of underground water supplies and to avoid depletion or contamination, industries or ventures that extract groundwater during their operations may require a NOC from the MPPCB.
